Last May 18, 2017, held the Libreng Palangoy in PCA (Philippine Columbian Association). The major beneficiaries are the sponsored students of Bert Lozada Foundation. The Philippine Columbian Association is a non-stock, nonprofit organization that operates as a membership sports club. Since the 1990’s Bert Lozada Swim School and PCA are being partnered in terms of swimming pool venue and facilities. Part of being a sponsored beneficiary of Bert Lozada Foundation is the privilege and benefits to learn how to swim. To teach them how to equip the basic swimming skills that can help them to achieve an athletic scholarship in college.
The 11 beneficiaries (10 girls and 1 boy) were having their breakfast meal in the foundation office before they will proceed at the PCA.
The aim of this program is to teach the beneficiaries of the grassroots-based program of swimming and after they equip with life-saving skills called swimming. The beneficiary will be the one who will pass this knowledge and skills to the other upcoming clientele of the foundation. Food meals, Transportation and Swimming gears of the beneficiary are all paid expenses of Bert Lozada Foundation.
