More than eight hundred indigent and special children from sixteen public schools in the special education program of the Department of Education enthusiastically attended the annual Golden Heart Manila: Handog Lingap last March 8, 2017, at Rizal Memorial Complex, Manila.
The event was seen as a huge success as smiles and laughter emanated from the children who took part in entertaining games including talent and variety shows.
Additionally, children were taught basic swimming lessons courtesy of Bert Lozada swimming school. Moreover, sixteen multimedia sets were also donated to public schools in order to sustain the children’s learning.
